2024年2月29日下午，受邀于生物电路与系统实验室（以下简称BiCASL实验室），IEEE Circuits and Systems Society主席（以下简称为IEEE CASS）Myung Hoon Sunwoo教授，应邀在上海交通大学电子信息与电气工程学院微纳电子学系进行了题为“IEEE Circuits and Systems Society 75th Anniversary”的精彩学术报告。此次讲座由BiCASL实验室的副教授李永福主持，吸引了30余位微纳电子学系和电子系的师生前来聆听。

        Myung Hoon Sunwoo 教授从IEEE CASS 75周年庆典的举办引入，带领同学们回顾了IEEE CASS 自1949年建立以来，到2024年这75年中逐步发展壮大的过程。Myung Hoon Sunwoo 教授讲到，如今的IEEE CASS已经发展到具有全球性影响力的巨大规模，每年都会举办多场全球性、地区性的学术会议；并且已经创办了多个具有行业引领价值的重点刊物。Myung Hoon Sunwoo 教授的报告内容丰富，逻辑清晰，引发老师同学们的深入讨论与思考，大家纷纷提出专业疑问和学术疑惑，Myung Hoon Sunwoo 教授进行了详细耐心的解答。开拓了师生研究视野，增强了学术创造力和创新意识。

  而后，IEEE CASS Student Branch Chapter（以下简称为IEEE CASS SBC）上海交通大学分会主席索研星同学对分会自从建立以来所举办的学术活动进行了分享，并对IEEE CASS SBC上海交通大学分会进行了宣传，鼓励同学们积极加入分会，参与更多学术活动。

        Myung Hoon Sunwoo (Fellow, IEEE) received a B.S. degree from Sogang University in 1980, an M.S. degree in EE from KAIST in 1982 and a Ph.D. degree in ECE from the University of Texas at Austin U.S.A., in 1990. Since 1992, he has been with the School of Electrical and Computer Engineering at Ajou University in Suwon, Korea, where he is currently a Professor. He has authored over 470 papers, holds more than 120 patents, and has won more than 55 awards, He served as the General Chair of the International Symposium on Circuits and Systems (SCAS) 2012 in Seoul, Korea, and as the General Co-chair of ISCAS 202l in Daegu, Korea. Currently, he is the director of the Medical Image-Based Intelligent Diagnostic Solutions (DS) Research Center, He has been a Distinguished Lecturer at IEEE Circuits and Systems Society (CASS) (2009-2010) and has served on the CASS Board of Directors BoG) (2011-2016) and as the IEEE CASS VP of Conferences (2018-202). As the IEEE CASS VP of Conferences, he launched the IEEE International Conference on Artificial Intelligence Circuits and Systems (AICAS) in 2019. His current research interests include artificial intelligence circuits and systems, low-power algorithms and architectures, medical imaging diagnosis, and deep-learning-based channel coding, He is the IEEE CASS President (2024-2025) and is an IEEE Fellow.
